Can I Cancel My Payout?

Want your money back? How to cancel a payout from your redeem page, when you can't, and when the balance returns to the app where you earned it, such as JumpTask.

Sometimes. If your sender allows it, you can cancel a payout yourself from your redeem page, as long as you haven't redeemed any of it yet. If you cancel, the unclaimed balance goes back to the sender: the app or program where you earned it, such as JumpTask.

How to cancel a payout

  1. Open your redeem page (the link from your payout email or the app where you earned it).

  2. Tap the ⋮ (three dots) button in the top-right corner of the payout card.

  3. Choose Cancel payout.

  4. Tick I understand this can't be undone, then tap Cancel payout to confirm.

A canceled payout can't be reopened, so you won't be able to redeem it afterward. If you're not sure yet, the confirmation shows how long you have until the payout expires.

ℹ️ If you don't see the ⋮ (three dots) button, or the menu doesn't include Cancel payout, unfortunately this payout can't be canceled.

When you can't cancel

You won't see Cancel payout if:

  • Your sender doesn't offer canceling for this payout.

  • You've already redeemed a gift card from it.

  • You've already started a crypto transfer. Crypto sent on the blockchain can't be pulled back.

If you can't cancel, you don't need to do anything. The payout expires on its own on the date shown next to Expires under your balance.

When will I get my money back?

If you earned the payout in the JumpTask app, the funds usually return to your JumpTask balance within a few minutes after you cancel the payout or it expires.

Not all other apps and programs return unused balances. If you don't see the funds, check that app or contact its support team, since they're the ones who can see your account there.
