Gift cards come in set amounts or have a minimum value, so a small leftover balance may not be enough for any card on your redeem page. When that happens, you'll see Your remaining balance isn't enough to redeem any available gift card. If no card fits, what happens to the remaining balance after the payout expires depends on the app or program where you earned it. Some apps, such as JumpTask, add it back to your account there, but not all of them do.
How to find a gift card that fits your balance
Your redeem page only lists cards your balance can cover, so anything that shows up is redeemable. To see everything available:
Set the country filter to All countries and use Search to look for a brand by name.
Check Global in the country filter. Global gift cards can be redeemed in any country.
Look for cards that let you enter any amount within a range. They're the easiest way to spend a small or uneven balance.
Gift card availability can change at any time, so the cards you see may differ from your last visit (see Why Isn't the Gift Card I Want on My Redeem Page?).
⚠️ Before you redeem, make sure the card works in your country. Some cards are currency locked, marked For USD accounts only (or another currency). Currency-locked cards redeemed to an account in another currency can't be refunded.
What happens to my remaining balance?
If no card fits, the remaining balance stays on your payout until it expires on the date shown next to Expires under your balance. What happens next depends on the app or program where you earned it:
JumpTask: the funds usually return to your JumpTask balance within a few minutes after the payout expires.
Other apps and programs: not all of them return unused balances. Check that app's terms or contact its support team, since they're the ones who can see your account there.
ℹ️ If you're not sure your app returns unused balances, try to use your full balance when you redeem.
On this payout, the remaining balance can't be topped up, combined with another payout, or switched to crypto. If your app returns unused balances, like JumpTask, you can use the returned funds toward your next payout once this one expires.
Because part of this payout is already redeemed, it can't be canceled early (see Can I Cancel My Payout?).
How to avoid a leftover balance
When you redeem, choose an amount that uses as much of your balance as possible. If a card lets you enter any amount within a range, you can spend your full balance in one go.
